Rockin’ M believes the Bible is the inspired, inerrant, infallible Word of God, and as such, it is constantly preached and taught. The Bible teaches the following:
- There is only one True God who eternally and equally exists as the Trinity consisting of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
- God created the world, including everything in it, both materially and spiritually.
- Humanity has fallen due to sin, thus separating ourselves from the one true God, and condemning ourselves to eternal separation from God.
- Out of his love and grace, God sent his only unique Son into this world for the salvation of the world.
- The Son, while remaining fully divine, added a human nature to his person and was miraculously conceived and born of the Virgin Mary.
- The Son, Jesus Christ, revealed God while living a sinless life and served as our substitutionary sacrifice by dying on the cross for the forgiveness of sin.
- Jesus resurrected on the third day, ascended to heaven, and is currently in session at the right hand of God, with all authority and power given to him.
- We receive and respond to God's saving gift of grace by placing faith in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior and promising to follow him for the rest of our lives.
- Belief in Jesus is demonstrated through immersion baptism as our old self is buried with Christ and raised to newness of life in him.
- Those whom Christ has saved receive the indwelling of the Holy Spirit to comfort, strengthen, and guide our walk with Jesus.
- A saving faith is one that is alive in the good works manifested by the Holy Spirit dwelling within us.
- Salvation brings adoption as a child of God and membership in Christ’s universal church, of which Christ is the head.
- All followers of Christ are tasked with the mission of remaining faithful to God, growing in Christlikeness, and making disciples of all nations.
- The church’s mission will continue until Christ returns in power and glory to judge the world, the believer to everlasting joy, and the unbeliever to everlasting torment in Hell.
- Christ’s followers will receive glorified resurrection bodies at his return and physically dwell with God on the new earth for eternity.
